Maya is yet another character who used to pop up in the first incarnation of Moonfruit. I have no big plans for her yet, but I needed a classmate for Billy and I figured what the hell.

Oh cool, a reference to the 1976 classic horror film The Omen. Everybody will understand that FOR SURE. …seriously though, Gregory Peck is pretty great in that movie.

One of these days I’ll do a story where Amanda gets to be happy and not just constantly annoyed about everything Billy does. It’s just that she’s an easy way to voice my own frustrations with everything Billy does.
